- Description
Our client is a tier one contractor in the infrastructure industry. They are looking to recruit a Project Engineer on a contract basis covering sites in Wolverhampton & Birmingham.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in overseeing activities of construction activities within an assigned area of responsibility.
- Assists with the planning and coordination of construction activities within the area of responsibility.
- Monitor’s subcontractor personnel to ensure adherence with project plans and promotes quality control of all installations.
- Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by Field Management.
- Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate including but not limited to updating drawings, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes and other documents as required.
- Contribute to building good communications between field management, project management, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and specialty contractors to ensure construction complies with plans, specifications, and company quality standards
Requirements:
- Candidate must have completed, or be working towards completing, a Level 4 or higher qualification in Engineering, Construction or other relevant discipline
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
