Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a main contractor for a Site Agent to lead delivery of pipeline and civils works on the Affinity Water framework. This is a hands-on site role focused on safe, on-programme delivery of large-diameter pipeline schemes and associated civil infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day site delivery: manage site teams, subcontractors and direct labour to achieve programme, quality and safety targets.

Deliver large-diameter / cross-country pipeline and civils packages (setting out, excavation, reinstatement, jointing, backfill).

Produce and manage Project Plans, RAMS, ITPs, method statements and two-week look-ahead programmes.

Own site commercial controls: site diaries, progress reporting, variation identification and cost awareness.

Coordinate temporary works, plant logistics and commissioning preparations.

Act as client-facing ambassador: manage stakeholders, statutory bodies and third-party interfaces.

Maintain accurate H&S, quality and as-built records to support handover.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
-
Proven Site Agent / Site Manager experience delivering pipeline works on water frameworks (Affinity Water experience or similar).

Strong background in large-diameter pipeline civils, cross-country trenches and reinstatement.

HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or substantial site-based experience.
-
CSCS card and SMSTS (or IOSH Managing Safely).

Solid commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder / team leadership skills.
Desirable:

Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) or similar certification.

Confined space, Thames Water/EUSR water hygiene, and electrical/mechanical awareness.

Experience with NEC/JCT contracts and Primavera P6.
