We are working with a tier 1 contractor who are looking to employ an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor on a full time basis in the Energy sector. As the Senior Environmental Advisor you will support the implementation of Policies and Strategies to deliver legislative compliance and promote continuous improvement in environmental management.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, improved and develop environmental management systems processes and procedures
- Liaison with external parties and regulators, such as the Environmental Agency
- Oversee all Environmental data, in line with internal and external reports requirements
- Develop meaningful strategies to continually promote a positive step change in all aspects of environmental management and behaviours
- Supporting the net zero ambition for the business and customers
- Lead on 14001 accreditation
- Supporting environmental internal and external audits
What do we need from you?
- Experience with Utilities - ideally in the Gas sector
- Exceptional knowledge of environmental legislation and applied controls
- Experience in providing environmental advice in both office and field workforce environments
- Ability to demonstrate experience in design, build and improve environmental management systems in line with 14001
- Ability to convey complex information in a simple, effective and plain language
- Full UK Driving License
