We are working with a tier 1 conctractor who are looking to employ an experienced Project Manager on a permanent basis to work in the Energy sector. As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the day to day supervison of site, ensuring clients requirements are met and complying with health and safety.

Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the successful management of projects, attending pre-start meetings, devising a strategic programme of works at the start of the contract and continually monitoring progress to ensure projects achieve targets in respect of safety, time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction
- Responsible for preparation and effective management of the project producing the overall Project Delivery Plan and associated detailed short term programmes and, where necessary, in conjunction with the Operations/Contracts Manager, making amendments to maintain the overall Plan
- Overall responsibility for the project including design, safety, quality management, resource planning, programme management and commercial management
- Act as a visibly strong leader of HSQ&E, promoting high standards of health and safety and environmental management by attending Health & Safety Meetings
- Monitor that the induction process is being followed for all employees on site
- Ensure that any work carried out outside of the scope of the contract is notified and approved by the Client and the implications of the changes
What do we need from you?
- Extensive experience of delivering multidiscipline projects in the Gas industry. Ideally pipeline and / or Compressor Station/AGI experience.
- EUSR SHEA Gas competency
- CSCS
- IOSH / SMSTS
- Willing to travel when required
- Full UK driving license
- Able to lead a team
- First Aider
- Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor (desirable)
- NEC 3&4 Contract experience (desirable)
- Fire Warden (desirable)
