Description

Our client is recruiting for a Welding Engineer to support their Quality and Welding Inspection Team based in Greater Manchester. This role is for an initial 6 month period but with the potential to be extended. The role will be to provide welding engineering expertise, supporting in the design and development of welding procedure specifications. 

Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Performing technical review of welding related contract documentation
  • Ensure compliance with clients, statutory, legal and approval body requirements for all welding activities 
  • Provide welding engineering subject matter expertise to the design and manufacturing processes.
  • Review and acceptance of all welding related documentation procedures 
  • Ensuring safe working practices in accordance with statutory and other requirements.
  • Support the quality and welding inspection teams
