Description

Overview:
We are working with a top tier main contractor who are looking for an Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee electrical work, manage electricians, and ensure safety regulations are followed. You will be responsible for scoping sites, ordering materials, issuing permits, and maintaining compliance with electrical safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit sites before projects begin to assess requirements, order materials, and plan timeframes with project teams.

  • Write Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and collect/manage site M&E drawings.

  • Conduct electrical site safety inspections, issue permits, and oversee electricians and subcontractors.

  • Support commissioning engineers, assist with the commissioning phase, and perform electrical safety audits.

  • Verify completed electrical work, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and inspect final installations.

  • Manage job folders, update documentation, complete red-line drawings, and ensure NICEIC certificates are properly completed and submitted for approval.


Who You Are:

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of electrical safety and permit systems.

  • Knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.

  • Experience in job scoping and material ordering.

  • Ability to read electrical drawings, panel schematics, and wiring diagrams.

  • Industrial M&E knowledge.

  • Strong literacy skills and attention to detail.

  • Qualified electrician (18th Edition, Apprenticeship).

  • CSCS ECS card and 2391 Test & Inspection certification.

  • Proactive mindset with good organizational and leadership skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification.

  • Previous experience in a similar role.

  • AP12 course certification.

  • Experience in the water or wastewater industry.

  • COMPEX certification.
