We are working with a leading Civil Engineering Main Contractor, who are recruiting for their Severn Trent Water framework. They need a Lead Infrastructure Engineer, to provide civil and pipeline engineering technical expertise for both clean water and water recycling infrastructure projects. In this role, you will provide guidance, technical reviews and design support for numerous infrastructure schemes and ensure all designs are fit for purpose and meet current legislation and standards.
Please note that, due to our client's policy, the only permitted payment options are Umbrella or PAYE.
The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will have dual lines of reporting into both the programme area Senior Design Manager (Engineering) and the Principal Infrastructure Engineer.As Lead Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide support to the engineering delivery teams by undertaking review and acceptance of key project deliverables (drawings / models; calculations) across an entire programme area for infrastructure (pipeline) related work. You will be the technical expert in either clean or wastewater pipeline engineering design.
Along with the Principal Engineer, you will maintain engineering standards across all the @one alliance, whilst working on on-going business improvements/innovation. You will also be required to mentor junior Engineers in the team.
Essentially, as Lead Infrastructure Engineer, you won't be assigned to deliver individual projects, but more, to provide technical leadership and support in the delivery of projects within their assigned programme area.
Rate is indicative and dependant on pay type and location.
