We are working with an industry-leading design-and-build business operating across the water sector who currently have an annual turnover of £500million. As a Site Agent on the Thames Water framework, you’ll play a key role in delivering a variety of exciting projects—from upgrading water treatment works to creating nature-based solutions and improving flood defences. This role offers purpose, challenge, and the opportunity to make a real difference while advancing your career in a thriving organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design and commercial teams to ensure efficient project delivery and mitigate risks.
- Manage site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Oversee site-level procurement, subcontractor logistics, and health and safety reporting.
- Act as a Temporary Works Coordinator, ensuring temporary works comply with design specifications.
- Maintain open communication with clients, updating them on progress and addressing concerns as they arise.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: CSCS card, SSSTS/SMSTS certification, and an HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Expertise: Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Skills: Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Other: A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Thames Valley region if required.
