Site Agent – Water Infrastructure

Join a leading UK design and build contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the water, energy and environmental sectors. With a strong order book secured through AMP8 and a reputation for delivering complex infrastructure schemes, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with genuine long-term career prospects.

Working on a major long-term framework for one of the UK's largest water utilities, you'll be involved in delivering a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects across the Thames Valley, including locations such as Aylesbury, Banbury and Reading.

As a Site Agent, you'll play a key role throughout the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction and design through to delivery, commissioning and handover. You'll lead projects that improve essential infrastructure, enhance environmental performance and support local communities.

The Role

  • Work closely with design and commercial teams to improve project delivery, identify opportunities and manage project risks.

  • Manage site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

  • Oversee site procurement activities, subcontractor coordination and health & safety reporting.

  • Maintain strong client relationships by providing regular project updates and addressing any issues.

  • Act as Temporary Works Coordinator, ensuring temporary works are installed in accordance with approved designs and relevant standards.

About You

  • CSCS and SSSTS or SMSTS certification.

  • HNC, Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and site delivery.

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors and project teams.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites within the Thames Valley region.

What's on Offer

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

  • Structured training and professional development.

  • Clear career progression opportunities, including support towards professional chartership.

  • Long-term job security through a major AMP8 framework with a strong pipeline of projects.

  • Flexible benefits covering financial, lifestyle, health and wellbeing support.
