Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading main contractor for a Section Engineer to support delivery on a long-term civils framework. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Section Engineer to join a contractor known for investing in people, offering long-term stability, career development, and exciting infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Site setting out and survey control

• Produce ITPs, Task Briefs, 2-week lookaheads

• Ensure works meet health, safety, quality and environmental standards

• Maintain accurate site records and QA documentation

• Support procurement and material coordination

• Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and clients

• Identify and resolve technical issues on site

Requirements

• Civil Engineering degree or HNC

• Previous experience as a Section Engineer on civil or utility projects

• Strong understanding of temporary works and deep excavation

• Skilled in setting out using Total Station or EDM

• CSCS, SMSTS, TWC or TWS

• Excellent communication and documentation skills
