- Description
We are working on behalf of a tier 1 principal contractor on the Anglian Water Framework who are seeking to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their team on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the Commercial Team on projects valued up to and over £1,000,000.

Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate cost and value reporting and forecasting to mitigate adverse financial impacts
- Ensure effective cost capture ensuring all costs are allocated appropriately
- Lead the identification of cost reduction opportunities and provide support to help stakeholders realise them
- Provide commercial support to stakeholders including ensuring all internal reporting needs are satisfied
- Ensure compliance with agreed commercial processes and procedures
- Create a culture of collaborative working with the client
What do we need from you?
- Thorough understanding of NEC3 forms of contract
- Thorough understanding of relevant construction and contract law
- Must have expert commercial acumen
- Managing teams across a matrix environment
- Acts in a truly collaborative fashion and inspires others to do the same
- Proactive management of the allocated programme area and prompt escalate issues as necessary
- Demonstrate resilience if there are setbacks
