Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join a top tier main contractor working on the Yorkshire Water framework. As the Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of construction projects related to clean water and wastewater infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable main contractor in delivering essential services to communities across Yorkshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee the implementation of health, safety, and environmental protocols to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor project progress and identify any potential risks or issues, taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to uphold the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to address any concerns or requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, site records, and project plans.
  • Lead and motivate site personnel to achieve project objectives while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the project management team and provide regular updates on site progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role within the construction industry, ideally with a focus on water projects.
  • Strong understanding of clean water and wastewater systems, construction methods, and relevant regulations.
  • CSCS Card. 
  • SMSTS.
  • Knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contract. 

The salary banding is dependent on experience and full benefits package will be disucssed upon shortlisting.
