Description

We are working with a top tier client who are seeking a Lead Auditor to join their team based in the West Midlands area on Construction/Civil Engineering projects. You will be responsible for conducting Internal Audits and reporting the HSEQ team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits of company procedures in accordance with the Annual Audit Schedule
  • Conduct audits with external Supply Chain partners
  • Provide advice and mentoring support to site teams during internal audits to raise standards and understand IMS requirements and adoption
  • Advise site teams on closing non-conformances, follow up audit responses and ensure effective review and closure
  • Attend monthly HSEQ Audit Meetings with the CFO, Director for HSEQ, Engineering Director and the HSEQ Systems and Audit Manager
  • Support the HSEQ Systems and Audit Manager with external audits where required

What do we need from you?

  • Lead Auditor Qualification with at least 5 years experience preferably in the Construction Sector
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001
  • High standard of written English
  • CSCS card
  • NEBOSH - desireable 
  • IEMA - desireable 

The salary is indicative and based on experience.
