Description

We are working with a Main Contractor who are seeking a SHEQ Manager to join their team on several frameworks in the Energy sector. In this position you will lead a team of SHEQ Advisors and report to the SHEQ Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide appropriate Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality input into the tender and contract award process
  • Act as a point of contact for advice and expertise on Health & Safety matters to the project teams 
  • Provide environmental and sustainability advice and expertise towards meeting targets, metrics and net zero
  • Lead the preparation of accident investigations, to establish root causes and communicate learning points to prevent re-occurence
  • Challenge existing working methods to incoporate good practice during both the design and construction phases
  • Have an in depth knowledge and provide advice on CDM regulation requirements

What do we need from you?

  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry - Gas, Rail, Power Overhead Lines
  • Diploma (or equivalent) in Health and Safety or considerable Utilites experience 
  • CMIOSH or working towards
  • Current full UK driving license 

The salary is indicative and based on experience.
