Established in 2000, the company is a specialist provider of traffic management services across the UK. Due to continued growth and the successful delivery of long-term contracts, an opportunity has arisen for a Streetworks Noticing Co-ordinator to join an established team.

The role involves managing traffic management bookings and overseeing the submission of permits and Traffic Management applications from start to finish. This includes obtaining permissions from Local Authorities, submitting statutory notices for works on the highway, liaising with customers to confirm requirements, progressing applications through to approval, issuing follow-up notices, and maintaining accurate records on the company’s bespoke database system.


Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Streetworks Noticing role and be confident communicating via telephone and email. The position is fast-paced and involves responsibility for key accounts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Submitting permits via Symology, Street Manager and Aurora systems

  • Submitting Traffic Management applications (TTROs, Traffic Light forms, etc.)

  • Issuing follow-up notices within required timeframes (PAA to PA, Actual Start, Works End, Registration, etc.)

  • Progressing permits and TM applications through to approval

  • Managing refusals, modification requests and queries

  • Monitoring defects and raising disputes or remedial permits

  • Monitoring FPNs and Section 74 charges, arranging payments and disputing where required

  • Meeting KPI deadlines set by management

  • Liaising with customers and Local Authorities

  • Maintaining accurate records on the company database


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience submitting highway permits and notices

  • Knowledge of NRSWA legislation and Streetworks charging schemes

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Previous experience in a similar role


Desirable Skills

  • Experience liaising with Local Authorities

  • Knowledge of Traffic Management
