Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor – Hull

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a busy office in Hull. You will be working on a number of projects simultaneously across healthcare, education, leisure and various refurbs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established business, there are chances for the role to become permanent for the right person.

Role Details:

• Position: Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Duration: Ongoing, chances for a permanent contract 

• Location: Hull

• Start Date: ASAP  

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project cost plans, valuations, and final accounts

• Assess subcontractor applications and variations

• Provide accurate cost advice and reporting

• Assist with procurement and tendering processes

• Liaise with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure commercial objectives are met
 

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor

• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

• Available to start immediately or at short notice

• Hull-based or within a commutable distance
