Site Agent - Digital Infrastructure & Telecoms

A leading national infrastructure delivery business is searching for an experienced Site Agent to join its growing Digital Infrastructure team. This is a critical role focused on the planning and delivery of secure wireless telecoms projects across the UK, with a primary focus on the Radio Access Network (RAN) and defence sectors.

This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in developing the nation's critical infrastructure. You'll be at the forefront of the industry, managing projects that blend wireless telecoms with complex civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the successful delivery of secure infrastructure projects, with values ranging from £1m to £8m.

  • Oversee multiple sites across the UK, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to the required quality standards, and within budget.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring seamless communication and coordination at the site level.

  • Champion a robust safety culture, ensuring strict compliance with all health & safety, quality, and security standards on site.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed site records, daily logs, and documentation.

  • Ensure all works are carried out in strict accordance with approved risk assessments, method statements, and management systems.

  • Manage subcontractor performance and proactively resolve any on-site issues.

  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all project activities, especially on defence-related projects.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Site Agent or in a similar role within the civil engineering, telecoms, or infrastructure sectors.

  • A strong, demonstrable understanding of health & safety regulations and on-site compliance.

  • Experience in secure environments or MOD projects is a significant advantage.

  • The ability to achieve SC-level security clearance is essential; current clearance is preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing civil subcontractors delivering works such as:

    • Site investigation and surveying

    • Perimeter security and fencing

    • Ducting and drainage installation

    • RC bases and general excavation

    • Safe digging practices and utility location

  • An outstanding leader who is proactive, hands-on, and possesses excellent communication skills.

  • Flexibility to travel and stay away from home as project demands require.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A highly competitive base salary, reviewed annually.

  • A generous holiday allowance with the option to purchase additional leave.

  • Company pension scheme.

  • Private medical insurance options.

  • Annual professional membership subscription.

  • Employee Assistance Programme for 24/7 support.

If you're a skilled Site Agent with a background in secure projects and are ready to contribute to the delivery of the UK’s next-generation digital infrastructure, we want to hear from you. Apply today to learn more about this exciting opportunity.
