Description

Provide site engineering support for regional projects by establishing survey control, setting out works from contract drawings, performing regular checks, maintaining accurate records, and resolving technical issues to ensure smooth delivery. site engineering support for regional projects by establishing survey control,

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote safe working practices, comply with legal and environmental standards, and deliver work safely

  • Ensure defect-free delivery by promoting best practices and identifying value engineering opportunities

  • Establish survey control, set out works accurately, maintain compliant records, and resolve technical problems

  • Prepare procurement schedules, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), task briefings, 2-week lookaheads, site diaries, and allocation sheets

  • Achieve accurate and timely setting out, defect-free handover, and timely production of quality records and reports

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience setting out civil engineering projects, including deep water and trenchless drainage

  • Competent in temporary works management, construction methods, health & safety, and legal regulations

  • Proficient with robotic total stations/EDM instruments

  • Degree or HNC (or equivalent) in civil engineering, excellent communication skills

  • Skilled in managing information controls and RFI process

  • CSCS, SMSTS, Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator certified

Desirable

  • Experience with AutoCAD, MS Office, MEICA, underground service detection

  • Additional certifications: Lifting Appointed Person, NRSWA Supervisor, Confined Spaces, Cable Avoidance Training, First Aid, NEBOSH or IOSH

  • Temporary works coordination experience
