We are working with a tier 1 contractor who are looking to employ an experienced Engineering Manager to deliver major infrastructure projects across the UK. As the Engineering Manager you will report to the Technical Director and be responsible for the strategy, planning, execution and control of the detailed design and procurement.

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to all personnel on the project and work closely with the wider project management team.
- Manage the delivery of the design and procurement scope of work which shall involve coordination between key subcontractors and the client.
- Exceptional technical knowledge of the engineering requirements relative to cross country pipelines and, specifically, code requirements where relative to carbon dioxide transportation.
- Proven ownership & accountability, judgment and decision making.
What do we need from you?
- Minimum 10 years industry experience
- Chartered Engineer or equivalent industry experience
- Previous experience working as an Engineering Manager or similar with a good understanding of all disciplines and their part in the overall project execution.
- Skilled in identifying, handling, and mitigating technical risk in construction projects.
- Willingness to work in different locations for short or medium period and to travel nationally.
- Multiple years of project management experience for cross country pipelines or a similar discipline.
