- Description
Mechanical Supervisor to to work on a Water Treatment Works in Dorset (contractor-side). This is long-term freelance position.
Your role will be to supervise and manage the mechanical works, ensuring safety, delivery and to the upholding the required standard.
- Supervise Sub-Contractors, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed efficiently and according to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems within the sewage treatment plant.
- Monitor and perform routine maintenance and repairs on Mechanical equipment.
- Engaging with the Supply Chain and support the contractor delivery and commissioning process.
To be considered for shortlisting, you must have:
- Mechanical certification
- Proven experience in a similar role within the water sector.
- Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
Due to our client's policy, the only payment options are PAYE or Umbrella. The rate will be dependent on this.
