Senior Quantity Surveyor required for High Rise Project in Salford, Manchester

Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a passion for high rise projects? If yes, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Our client, a reputable and successful construction company, is seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Salford, Manchester. This is a permanent role with an immediate start, offering the chance to work on an exciting high rise project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the commercial and contractual aspects of the project, ensuring financial control from inception through to completion.
- Undertake feasibility studies and cost control at all stages of the project, working closely with the project team and stakeholders.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, analyzing and controlling costs to maximize profitability.
- Negotiate and manage subcontracts and suppliers, ensuring value for money and quality standards are maintained.
- Assess and evaluate risks, advising on mitigation strategies to minimize potential issues.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure efficient delivery of the project, providing regular updates on costs and financial progress.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in new build housing projects, with a strong track record in managing high rise projects being preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, pricing, and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Proficient in the use of industry software, such as Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- A proactive and dedicated approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
