  • Develop and implement group-wide commercial procedures, reporting frameworks, templates, and governance processes
  • Standardise commercial reporting processes including CVR reporting, subcontract reviews, and risk registers
  • Establish clear commercial workflows, approval processes, and governance structures
  • Provide senior leadership teams with commercial risk analysis and mitigation strategies
  • Support insurance, bond, and guarantee requirements where required

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner closely with design, engineering, and delivery teams to improve commercial awareness across projects
  • Deliver training and guidance on commercial best practice and contract administration
  • Support senior leadership and directors during key client negotiations and framework discussions

  • Strong knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts including ECC, PSC, and contract amendments such as Z Clauses
  • Proven experience managing change control, claims, compensation events, and dispute resolution
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Law, or similar
  • MRICS or equivalent chartership desirable but not essential
