Description

Our client are seeking a skilled Project Delivery Engineer to support the successful delivery of major gas transmission and distribution projects across the UK. The role will suit an individual with a proven record of site experience and site engineering experience, looking to eventually progress into project management. The individual will also need to understand the commercial impacts of the works, scope and subcontract management, escalating risks and inputting to the wider commercial management of the project. 

You’ll act as the technical lead across multiple sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical delivery across project sites
  • Coordinate design, drawings, and technical queries (RFIs/TQs)
  • Support temporary works, procurement, and subcontractor management
  • Ensure quality assurance, documentation, and as-built records
  • Monitor progress, risks, and programme milestones
  • Support Project/Construction Managers with planning, reporting, and commercial awareness
  • Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships

About You:

  • 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering
  • HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
  • Strong site engineering and technical coordination experience
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD/MicroStation and surveying tools
  • Understanding of CDM regulations and construction processes
