We are working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor seeking a motivated Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Stockton. Responsibilities:

Based on site and reporting to the Project Quantity Surveyor, you will:

• Assist with accurately valuing, certifying, and issuing subcontract payment notices in line with subcontract conditions.
• Support the submission of external valuations in accordance with the main contract and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare CVC reports, reflecting current site status and final profit projections.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the supply chain, consultants, and clients, helping to identify and resolve potential disputes.
• Work closely with project teams and senior commercial staff to achieve or exceed budgeted project targets.

About You:

• A construction-related degree (or working towards one).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Basic understanding of contract law.
• Experience of re-measurement, procurement, and cost control.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Appropriate CSCS card.
