A great opportunity for an experienced Design Manager with strong civil and M&E experience to deliver technical solutions for clean water, wastewater, pipelines, trunk mains, sewers, pumping stations, and treatment projects. You will lead design teams and consultants to deliver compliant, cost-effective solutions on time and to budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil and M&E design teams and consultants

• Ensure designs meet client, regulatory, and quality standards

• Deliver concept, detailed, and construction designs to programme and budget

• Manage design risks, change control, budgets, and schedules

• Review and challenge design solutions and provide technical guidance

• Oversee temporary works design coordination as needed

• Support project teams and liaise with stakeholders and supply chain

Essential

• Minimum 10 years’ design and management experience (civil and M&E)

• Experience in foul drainage, potable mains, pipelines, and treatment works

• BIM and common data environment knowledge

• Degree/HNC in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

• Incorporated or Chartered (or working towards)

• Strong communication, people, and project management skills
