Job Title: Freelance Site Manager – Housing Refurbishment

About the Role:
We're looking for a hands-on Freelance Site Manager to lead the refurbishment of 6 residential plots on a housing site in West Ayton. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on-site, driving progress, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations and coordination of subcontractors

• Ensure all works are completed safely, to spec, and on schedule

• Conduct quality checks and resolve on-site issues promptly

• Maintain a tidy, safe, and compliant working environment

• Report progress and liaise with the project team and stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience managing small-to-medium residential refurbishments

• SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid, and valid CSCS card (required)

• Ability to manage trades, suppliers, and site logistics efficiently

• A proactive, “can-do” attitude – not afraid to get involved on-site

• Strong organisational and communication skills
