- Description
Our client is looking for an Estimator to join the team on a long term, contract role. The ideal candidate will have a extensive experience within the construction industry, ideally in the water and/or gas sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Prepare and present detailed tender cost build-ups, ensuring strict timescales are maintained throughout the tendering process
- Support the transition between the tender phase and project handover, ensuring smooth communication with project delivery teams
- Identify potential risks and opportunities within project estimates, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and maximise value
