Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier 1 contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role focuses on delivering high-pressure gas projects within the energy sector, including pipeline infrastructure. As the Project Manager, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, delivering client requirements, and driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Oversee project delivery from pre-start to completion, including pre-start meetings, strategic programming, and ongoing progress monitoring to achieve safety, time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Delivery Planning: Prepare and manage the overall Project Delivery Plan, short-term programmes, and resource allocation. Collaborate with the Operations/Contracts Manager to adjust plans as required.
  • Operational Oversight: Lead project design, safety, quality management, resource planning, programme management, and commercial management efforts.
  • HSQ&E Leadership: Act as a visible champion for Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQ&E). Attend and contribute to Health & Safety meetings and ensure a robust induction process for all site personnel.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring any out-of-scope work is identified, approved, and managed effectively.

What do we need from you?

  • Extensive experience delivering multidisciplinary projects in the Gas industry, ideally with pipeline and/or compressor station/Above Ground Installation (AGI) experience.
  • Certifications and competencies:
    • EUSR SHEA Gas
    • CSCS Card
    • SMSTS
    • Full UK Driving License
    • First Aid Certification
  • Desirable:
    • Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor certification
    • NEC3 & NEC4 contract experience
    • Fire Warden certification

The salary is indicative and based on experience.
