Mechanical Site Manager

Linear Recruitment are currently working with a Leading Construction and Residential Contractor, for who we are looking to recruit a Mechanical Site Manager for an increasing workload across 2024.

We are looking for someone with mechanical and/or electrical background. 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Supervise a team of trade operatives and sub-contractors delivering a range of refurbishment works. 
• Responsible for the efficient use of resources and that Job planning, appointments, resource allocation, materials, plant and equipment are effectively utilised and constantly improved in line with the service delivery targets.
• Assist the Contracts Manager in compiling all pre-start information. 
• Provide an organised approach to project planning; include health and safety, execution methods and quality. 
• Deliver project and weekly programme information, KPI's and feedback into both monitoring and reporting systems.
• Ensure project direction, focus and consistency through out the projects and team.

What we are looking for:

• Higher National Certificate in Building Studies or equivalent experience
• Experience in working on high value low rise schemes
• Experience of Refurbishment contracts and relevant knowledge of building legislation and building and construction projects
• Experience of managing specialist sub-contract supply chains
• Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines
• Up to date relevant knowledge and experience of Health and Safety legislation
