Telehandler

Linear are looking for a telehandler to start a job in Harrogate ASAP. Contact ash on 0114 263 4888

Duties:
- Operate telehandlers to lift, move, and place materials in a safe and efficient manner
- Transport materials to designated areas on the job site
- Load and unload trucks using the telehandler
- Perform routine maintenance on the telehandler to ensure its proper functioning
- Inspect the telehandler for any damages or malfunctions before each use
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the telehandler
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations on the job site

Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor issues with the telehandler
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating telehandlers or similar heavy equipment is preferred
- Ability to read and understand job site plans and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing, walking, and operating heavy equipment
