Description

We are working with a top tier client who are seeking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team on the Yorkshire Water Framework with both clean water and waste water. The role will be a mixture of office, site and home working.

Responsibilities:

  • As the Quantity Surveyor you will work closly with the Pre-Construction, Design and Delivery functions within the wider team
  • You will be producing Subcontract documentation including negotiation of terms and conditions, prices and programmes
  • Your role will form an essential link in the supply chain, liasing with operational and enineering staff to ensure site records are kept to the standard required
  • You will play a pivotal role in weekly progress and risk reduction meetings, producing, submitting, and agreeing monthly applications to the Client and present Cost Value Reconciliation's (CVR)

What do we need from you?

  • Relevant degree and/or experience of working in a Commercial environment
  • A strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC/JCT)
  • Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word and Contractual and Cost Management Systems (CEMAR, Oracle)
  • Ability to establish strong, collaborative working relationships
