Site Supervisor – Civils
Location: Bishop Auckland
Duration: Long-term

Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Start Date: ASAPWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a long-term civils project in Bishop Auckland.
The project involves ducting, concrete and drainage works, and we are looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor with strong civils experience who can effectively oversee site activities, subcontractors and labour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising day-to-day site activities
- Overseeing ducting, drainage and concrete works
- Managing and coordinating site operatives and subcontractors
- Ensuring works are completed safely and to the required quality standards
- Monitoring progress and ensuring works are completed to programme
- Coordinating gangs and trades on site
- Carrying out regular quality and safety checks
- Ensuring RAMS and site procedures are followed
- Liaising with the Site Manager and wider project team
- Reporting progress, issues and delays
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and site organisation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within civil engineering
- Strong experience across ducting, drainage and concrete works
- Ability to supervise multiple gangs and site activities
- Good understanding of construction health & safety
- CSCS
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- First Aid
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment
