The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of major infrastructure schemes from early development through to completion, leading design, preconstruction and construction activities across complex heavy civil engineering projects.

Working closely with operational teams, clients and stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and commercially, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage multidisciplinary teams, direct labour and subcontractors to deliver projects safely and efficiently
  • Ensure robust health, safety, environmental and quality standards are maintained throughout project delivery
  • Support tendering activities, identify future opportunities and contribute to business growth initiatives

  • Experience within the water sector (clean water and/or wastewater) is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage both direct labour and subcontract supply chains
  • Strong client-facing experience with the ability to manage key stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent planning, programming and project controls capability
  • Strong commercial awareness with sound understanding of NEC contracts, including Option C mechanisms
  • Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), CSCS Managers Card and SMSTS
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects with minimal supervision

Desirable

  • Primavera P6 experience or equivalent planning software knowledge
  • Knowledge of Development Consent Order (DCO) processes

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to lead major infrastructure programmes on complex engineering schemes while working within a highly collaborative and progressive project environment.
