About the role

Our client are a UK civil engineering and infrastructure specialist delivering major projects across the water, transport, energy, and built environment sectors. Working in long-term alliances with major clients and partners, we are entering a high-growth delivery period focused on large-scale water infrastructure investment.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will provide key commercial and cost management support within an integrated delivery team, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, commercially, and in line with contractual, quality, and safety requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cost and commercial control across allocated projects
  • Produce accurate reporting, forecasting, and cost analysis
  • Support contractual understanding across project teams
  • Work with delivery teams to identify efficiencies and value improvements
  • Maintain accurate financial records and final accounts
  • Ensure compliance with governance and client requirements


About You

Essential:

  • Strong experience in cost management within construction/civil engineering
  • Good understanding of construction processes and health & safety

Desirable:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • Interest in long-term career development in commercial management
