Estimator

A well established housing developer is looking for an Estimator to join their team in Rochdale. 

Responsibilities: 

• To assess and estimate all costs associated with land acquisition, including purchase price, legal fees, site preparation, environmental considerations, topography, site conditions and related expenses.
• Stay informed on local regulations to ensure accurate pricing and cost estimates while analysing comparable land sales and development projects to assess market conditions and land values.
• Visit proposed sites to identify constraints and other factors that may influence the pricing strategy.
• Work with the finance team to ensure land cost estimates align with overall project budgets and financial forecasts.

Requirements:

• A relevant qualification or significant experience in land viability/appraisal, cost estimating, or commercial/groundworks roles within the residential homebuilding sector.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam or equivalent.
• Experience of using COINS beneficial but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
