- Description
We are seeking an experienced Civils/Groundworks Estimator to join our client’s expanding team.
Responsibilities:
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Compile accurate bills of quantities, take-offs, and procurement schedules.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
- Assess project risks, constraints, and opportunities.
- Work closely with the commercial and operations teams to ensure estimates reflect programme, quality, and buildability requirements.
- Prepare tender submissions, cost summaries, and supporting documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator within Civils/Groundworks.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office packages.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Site visits.
