Overview
A Technical Manager will normally be professionally qualified and Chartered. They should have a proven direct experience of working on large earthworks projects/ ground engineering.
Ideally, their degree would be in civil engineering or engineering geology and they would also have direct experience in the design and construction of retaining walls.
Responsible for obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals.
Responsible for providing technical interpretation of information regarding a wide range of geotechnical and/ or geoenvironmental aspects.
Prepares specific studies, reports, designs and specifications as required.
Independently performs assignments, with supervision and guidance relating largely to overall objectives, critical issues and new concepts.
