We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's largest house builders as a Development Engineer at their offices in Warrington.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all engineering information exchange between external consultants and internal departments to ensure project deadlines are met
- Review all engineering drawings and details to ensure accuracy, correctness, and alignment with commercial requirements
- Participate in site visits and meetings as necessary to address and resolve any issues that arise during construction. Additionally, attend design meetings with highways and drainage departments to understand council requirements for new developments
- Obtain site investigation data and develop appropriate engineering solutions
- Ensure all necessary approvals are secured and accurate information is received and distributed to facilitate a scheduled start on site
Requirements:
- Qualified to degree level or HNC/HND in a Construction / Engineering subject with relevant experience
- Previous experience working with a volume house builder
- CSCS card or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
- Proficient in IT with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly adapt to new software and systems
