Administrator - Construction

We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our client who is based in Darlington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in the construction industry who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to project trackers, continuously monitoring and updating progress.
• Manage document control, archiving, and organisation of project files.
• Maintain site files post-visit, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare and distribute job packs both physically and via internal platforms.
• Check site equipment in and out effectively.
• Organise hire and off-hire of plant equipment, liaising with staff and external clients.
• Raise and process project-related paperwork to ensure compliance and understanding.
• Provide support to site workers with additional documentation as required.
• Retrieve and prepare Health & Safety (H&S) files and O&M information.
• React and adapt to emergency jobs or situations arising from ongoing projects.

About You

• Proven experience as an administrator within the construction industry (essential).
• Familiarity with Job Logic or other CRM/project management systems (preferred).
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other administrative systems.
