  • Act as a key contact for clients, stakeholders, and third-party bodies.

  • Oversee health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance, maintaining all required documentation.

  • Carry out and record inspections, audits, and progress reports.

  • Manage cost plans, control project expenditure, and seek opportunities for value engineering.

  • Maintain accurate site records, diaries, and “as built” documentation.

  • Chair site meetings when required and contribute to client reporting.

Essential:

  • Background in civil engineering, ideally in the water/utilities sector.

  • Experience as a Site Engineer or Section Engineer with aspirations to progress into a Sub Agent role.

  • Knowledge of NEC contract conditions, CDM regulations, programme management, and cost control.

  • Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

  • CSCS card, SMSTS, and IOSH or NEBOSH certification.

  • Service avoidance and confined space training.

  • Appointed Person CPCS card.

Benefits

  • Company car / car allowance.

  • Company pension & life assurance.

  • Private medical cover.

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, loyalty days & volunteering hours.

  • Professional development, leadership training & career progression support..
