You'll play a key role in the technical development and engineering assurance of large-scale transmission lines projects, supporting both greenfield and brownfield schemes through design, estimation, and delivery.

With long-term career pathways, visa sponsorship, and support in transferring your UK qualifications, this role offers a highly attractive relocation opportunity for experienced engineers ready for a new challenge down under.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering and technical support across major transmission line projects from concept to delivery.

  • Develop scopes and specifications for project estimation, constructability, operability, and safety.

  • Conduct detailed design using tools such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and TOWER.

  • Contribute to cost-effective project business cases by supporting schedules, risk registers, and commercial proposals.

  • Lead technical reviews and drive improvements in design standards and processes.

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and design/delivery partners.

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a knowledge-sharing team culture.

  • Provide timely support on estimation and project development documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Chartered or near-chartered status preferred (Engineers Australia or UK equivalent).

  • Eligible for registration as a Registered Professional Engineer in Australia.

  • Extensive experience in transmission line design, construction, or project delivery.

  • Strong working knowledge of Australian (or equivalent) electrical and structural standards.

  • Proficiency with line design software (PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, etc.) and foundation design.

  • Strong understanding of project lifecycles and stakeholder engagement.

  • Ability to mentor others and communicate complex engineering concepts clearly.

  • UK-based candidates with relevant HV or transmission experience will be supported with full qualification transfer and onboarding.

Benefits

  • Visa sponsorship and full relocation support for UK-based candidates.

  • Long term secured project work across Australia's growing energy infrastructure.

  • Company-funded transfer of UK qualifications to Australian equivalents.

  • Competitive salary package.

  • Inclusive, safety-led workplace culture with a strong emphasis on development and wellbeing.
