One of Thames Water’s civil engineering partners is recruiting for a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor. This is to work on AMP8, with their requirement due to run until 2027.
Please note that they have deemed the role to be Inside IR35. As such, the available payment choice is between Umbrella PAYE or PAYE itself. As such, the rate will be dependent on your preference.
To be considered, you must have:
- Previous experience of working for a civil engineering/MEICA company and be familiar with IChemE and NEC forms of contract.
- A track record in commercial management, procurement/management of subcontractors, and responsibility for control cycles, certificates and accruals.
- Demonstrable experience of monthly forecasting and cost analysis.
Ideally, you will have a Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, skills in Estimating and be a member of RICS or other relevant professional body.
This role will be based on site 5 days per week; there isn’t a hybrid option.
