We are working with a leading housing developer that is dedicated to designing and building exceptional homes that offer a superior living experience.
They are seeking a Design Manager to lead and manage the design process for their new housing developments. This role is responsible for ensuring that all projects meet the highest design standards, comply with regulations, and are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design process from initial concept to final construction documents, collaborating with architects, engineers, and other design professionals.
- Ensure design decisions align with project budgets and contribute to cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain high design standards throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Represent the company effectively in design discussions with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, or a related field.
- Previous experience working as an Architectural Technician or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing design projects from concept to completion.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
