The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer to join a main contractor delivering major highways and infrastructure projects. As a Senior Engineer, you will take full responsibility for setting out, engineering control, and quality assurance while mentoring and coordinating the site engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee setting out, engineering control, and quality compliance.

Support the Site Agent in planning and managing resources.

Supervise and mentor site engineers while coordinating subcontractors.

Prepare and implement RAMS, ITPs, and quality checks.

Ensure compliance with highway specifications and project requirements.

Maintain accurate records, surveys, and QA documentation.

Assist the commercial team with early warnings (EWs) and compensation events (CEs).
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior Engineer in highways, infrastructure, or civil engineering.

Strong setting-out skills using Levels, EDM, and GPS.
-
NVQ Level 3 or higher in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

SMSTS & CSCS certification.
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Office 365.
