We are working with a blue chip principal contractor in the Oxford area who are seeking to add a Section Engineer to their team on a permanent basis working on Rail and Transportation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and control your section of the work according to agreed programmes
• Provide overall responsibility for implementing and maintaining safe systems of work
• Ensure adequate monitoring and supervision arrangements are maintained and clearly defined areas of responsibility for contractors are established and implemented
• Make sure Project Team maintain planning and programming through the Design phase and construction process and that this is communicated to all parties
• Understanding the temporary works requirements and ensuring this is planned in advance

What do we need from you?

• Relevant Construction related Degree or HNC qualification
• Relevant CSCS card
• Strong understanding of temporary works requirements for civil engineering projects

The salary is indicative and based on experience.
