Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for a new opportunity? Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the production of detailed and accurate electrical designs and estimates for commercial and industrial projects throughout the UK.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Bid Team and Technical Designers to ensure high-quality and detailed proposals are submitted in line with client requirements.
- Advise the Estimating Manager on any foreseeable issues with workload, ensuring efficient project management.
- Prepare all enquiries for sign off in a timely manner, allowing for changes to take effect within the deadline submission date.
- Ensure all tenders adhere to the latest industry standards, providing accurate and competitive pricing for projects.
- Utilise drawings and specifications to produce competitive tenders, taking off quantities for accurate estimates.
- Employ estimating software to produce complete electrical estimates, ensuring technical correctness.
- Coordinate with our supply chain to apply for project pricing, leveraging relationships to secure the most competitive rates.
- Compile tender packages for subcontractors, reviewing returned documents for inclusion in the main bid.
- Participate in finalizing tenders, offering value engineering suggestions and alternative manufacturer proposals.
- Adhere to company standards with regards to estimating practices and procedures.
- Represent the Company in negotiations and meetings when required.
- Attend internal project handover meetings and assist the Commercial Manager in developing the commercial strategy for the project.

Skills and Qualifications:
- ONC/HNC Building Services Engineering or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Proven electrical estimating/bid presentation experience.
- Demonstrated success in winning electrical projects in line with business guidelines.
- Good understanding of technical issues related to electrical designs and estimates.
- Working knowledge of labor, plant, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read and clearly understand drawings and specifications.
- Capacity to work under pressure and flexible in approach to tender deadlines.
- Wide supplier and subcontractor knowledge, allowing for competitive pricing.
- Proficient in estimating software and computer literate.
- Strong commercial acumen.
