Freelance Site Administrator
Location: Durham

Duration: 5 months +
Rate: Competitive, dependent on experienceWe are currently recruiting for a Freelance Site Administrator to join a well-established social housing contractor working across the Durham area.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Administrator to provide essential administrative support to the site and operational teams, helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently and all documentation is maintained to a high standard.
The Role
As Site Administrator, you will support the Site and Project Management teams with the day-to-day administration of social housing works.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing general administrative support to Site and Project Managers.
- Maintaining accurate project and site records.
- Updating spreadsheets, databases and project documentation.
- Assisting with timesheets, labour records and subcontractor information.
- Raising and processing purchase orders and invoices where required.
- Maintaining health & safety and compliance documentation.
- Assisting with document control and filing.
- Liaising with operatives, subcontractors, clients and internal departments.
- Supporting project reporting and general administration.
- Ensuring information is recorded accurately and issued within required timescales.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Site Administrator, Project Administrator or Document Controller within the construction industry.
- Experience within social housing, repairs & maintenance or planned works is advantageous.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
- Experience working within a busy construction or site environment.
