Deliver high-quality design and technical coordination across a diverse and engaging project portfolio.

A RIBA Chartered, award-winning architectural practice is seeking to appoint an Architect to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a design-focused Architect who enjoys taking projects from early concept through to delivery and is looking for greater responsibility, autonomy, and long-term progression within a collaborative studio environment.

The role would suit someone who enjoys both design and technical detail, coordinating information across disciplines, and working on a variety of sectors including education, residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Salary & Benefits

  • £38,000 – £50,000 salary (dependent on experience).
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • Strong emphasis on work–life balance.
  • Ongoing CPD and professional development support.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Supportive, collaborative studio culture.
  • Opportunity to work on nationally recognised projects.
  • Clear career progression within an established practice.

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you will ideally have:

  • ARB registered Architect (or equivalent qualification).
  • Minimum 5 years’ UK industry experience.
  • Strong design development and technical delivery skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit (BIM Level 2 experience desirable).
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities.
  • Confidence leading or supporting projects through all RIBA stages.

The Role

As an Architect, you will play a key role in delivering projects from concept design through to completion on site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading or supporting design development across multiple stages.
  • Coordinating design information across consultants and disciplines.
  • Producing high-quality drawing packages for planning, tender, and construction.
  • Working within BIM environments using Revit.
  • Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and project requirements.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities.
  • Supporting delivery across a range of sectors.
  • Contributing to design reviews and coordination meetings.
