Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an assistant Site Manager to carry out refurb and refit work on occupied tenant sites. Working with a Site manager or Project manager you will manage all site activities to ensure the project is completed safely, on time, on budget, and in line with contractual obligations.

Creating a positive Health and safety culture, your duties will include supervising all construction workers, their tools and materials, and making regular safety inspections.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITY

• Oversee day to day operational duties of the project from inception to completion.
• Manage site activities on a day to day basis, including supervising labour, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work, and overseeing quality control.
• Ensure on-site safety through risk assessment and risk management.
• Promote a positive Health & Safety culture.
• Liaise with buyers for material procurement and effective buying opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships and ensure regular communications with key contacts, both internal and external customers, reporting progress on projects.
• Liaise with residents and C.E.C.
