- Description
Our client is a leading Main Housing Contractor with a strong pipeline of work on future construction schemes, working in the Residential sectors.
Due to a new project awards they are now looking to appoint an Engineer to their County Durham Office. The role responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with Section 38, 104 and 278 Agreements
- Conducting site investigation works and inspections
- Liaising with local Councils and Utility Companies
- Compiling detailed site reports
- Obtaining 'sign off of the works from the Adopting Authority and pursuing adoption certification from the various authorities
- Reviewing tenders and works quotations
- Commercial assessments, valuations and costing of works
- Surveying review/production of CAD drawings
- Compiling & submitting required adoption documentation
- Liaising & managing sub-contractors to complete works
- Solving civil engineering problems and delivery of key works under deadlines
You must have a proven track record in Project Management, dealing with S38, S278 and S104, Highways and Sewers, a CSCS card, a Civil Engineering qualification and Residential background is preferable.
